Kristin Cavallari aka Mom to Be!

Honestly it does not seem too long ago that Kristin Cavallari was fighting LC on Laguna Beach. Now she is pregnant!

She and Jay Cutler (her boyfriend/quarterback of the Chicago Bears)  announced their pregnancy on Sunday to People saying, "We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family." 


Hopefully this time around their engagement stays intact who became engaged again for the second time this past November.

Seal and Heidi Klum Divorce

It seems like only yesterday I was writing about how I thought every Hollywood couple should aspire to be like Seal and Heidi.

The couple annouced their separation on Sunday (1/22)

I am actually in shock that they have separated. An interview of Seal with Tavis Smiley on PBS will air this Friday. During the interview Seal seems quite reassured that he and Heidi will be able to resolve their difference in a peaceful manner and not create a hostile breakup. During the interview he said, "In terms of our love and respect for each other, it hasn't changed at all. I think that when two people feel that way about each other, it is easy – it is easier to make that transition. What one has to do in this situation is remain civil and to retain one's dignity and to be professional and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that go through this. It is just unfortunately a chapter of life."


I found this odd though- Seal is still wearing his wedding ring. When he taped his interview with Ellen DeGeneres yesterday he was wearing the ring and said "It's just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years, eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn't necessarily mean you take off your ring and you're no longer connected to that person. We will be connected in many ways 'til the rest of our lives." He explains that he is comfortable with the ring on his finger and has no intention of taking it off anytime soon. The episode of Ellen will air tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/25.


This separation is coincidentally occurring at the same time as Seal's album is coming out. There are rumors brewing that the couple did this just to increase publicity. I honestly don't know what to believe. I thought they were in it for the long haul.

Adele has moved on from her ex-boyfriend (the one who inspired her album '21').

Here is a picture of Adele and her new beau, Simon Konecki. The two were taking a stroll through the Everglades National Park in Flordia.

So happy for Adele! Once she recovers from throat surgery, I am hoping maybe Simon can inspire the creation of '23' or '24'?!

What's the Deal, Jessica Biel?

Award shows are all about the gowns and accessories, most importantly the jewels. But what are we left to do but to assume the worst when celebs show up without their most important piece?

Jessica Biel showed up to the Golden Globes without an engagement ring! Does this mean there is trouble in paradise with soon-to-be hubby Justin Timberlake? Or does this just mean that their alleged engagement is product of the rumor mill? After all the engagement was never confirmed. Guess we will have to keep a tight watch on her ring finger...

Kelsey Grammer, Daddy of 5, Husband of 4

Yes you read the title correctly. Kelsey is expecting his 5th child with his 4th wife.

I have to warn you I am Team Camille ever since a new, kinder (may I say normal?) side of her has been shown on this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Moving on...

Kelsey's wife, Kayte Walsh is currently in her second trimester with his fifth child. Last night at the Golden Globes Kelsey won for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV-Series Drama for Boss. In his acceptance speech he said," This is very nice...I'd like to thank my wife Kayte for the future. What a magnificent year it's been." 2011 was also the year he and Camille had divorced...slap in the face much?

Before I end his rant of a post I would also like to add that Kelsey is a grandfather to his 28 year old son's child. 

Halle Berry Engaged!

Third times a charm for Halle who was previously married to David Justice, an Atlanta Braves player, and Eric Benet, a singer. Olivier Martinez proposed to Halle with an emerald and diamond engagement ring. The couple met on the set of their film Dark Tide in 2010.

Inter-Band Relationship Gone Right!

Most of the time I would say inter-band relationships don't really work out but that does not seem to be the case with this couple!

This part Saturday, Jan 7th, Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell tied to knot!

Let's get down to the good details- the wedding dress! Hillary wore a Vera wang strapless mermaid dress and hubby was decked in a gray Ermenegildo Zenga suit. The couple met in 2010 and got engaged on July 4, 2011. Their marriage will be kickstarted with the band's Own the Night world tour at the end of the month.

Saturday night Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter! 

I noticed over the weekend especially on Twitter that there was much confusion about the baby's name which I can now attribute to Beyonce's tweets. She first tweeted on Sunday Ivy Blue and then a few hours later revealed, "Officially Blue Ivy Carter."

So what's the significance behind this name? The power couple has yet to clarify but there is some speculation. Blue because of Jay-Z's 3 albums: The Blueprint 1, 2 and 3. Ivy because of the number 4 or Roman numeral IV. 4 is a reoccurring number in their relationship. Beyonce's birthday is September 4 and while Jay-Z's is December 4. The couple was married on April 4, 2008 and they got matching "IV" tattoos on their wedding ring fingers. Last but not least, Beyonce's latest album is entitled 4.

Is Russell Brand "The One That Got Away"?

I cannot believe it! Although I always thought they were the oddest couple, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have officially split. This past weekend on December 30th, Russell filed for divorce in LA due to "irreconcilable differences." In a statement to TMZ, Russell Brand said, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends." 

They first met in September 2009 at the MTV Music Awards in NYC. Russell proposed to her three months later on New Years Eve. The couple was married for 14 months, beginning with their wedding ceremony on Oct. 23, 2010 at a luxury resort in the countryside of Northern India. This resort just happens to be the same place where they got engaged. It was a traditional Indian ceremony- Katy wore a sari as did her bridesmaids and they used 21 animals (camels, elephants and horses), dancers and musicians in the procession. The ceremony consisted of 80 guests, all close family and friends, who were treated to safaris and performances.


I was just as shocked to find the couple had not signed a prenup. Therefore according to the laws in California concerning marriage, Russell is entitled to half of Perry's millions. According to E!, throughout the 14 months the couple was married Russell made approximately $8 million from the movie Arthur, his books and performances, but this is nothing compared to Katy's $45 million (tour, endorsements, perfume line).
