Howard Stern Engaged

Howard Stern announced on his Sirius satellite radio show today, February 14, that he and his girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky, are engaged. People.com and UsMagazine.com have reported that Stern, 53, announced on his show that he ordered Ostrosky, 34, to strip down. Once she was naked, he gave her a 5.2-carat emerald cut diamond ring and said to her, "I love you. You're everything to me. This is so gay. ... I'm asking you to spend the rest of your life with me."

Ostrosky accepted Stern's proposal. Stern indicated on his radio show that the couple will have a long engagement because the couple can't think about getting married right now.

The couple have been dating since 2000. This will be the first marriage for Ostrosky and the second marriage for Stern, who split from his college sweetheart, Alison Berns, in 2000.
