Wolfgang Puck's Italian Wedding

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck married handbag designer Gelila Assefa on Saturday on the Italian island of Capri. Their rehearsal dinner was held on Friday night under the lemon trees at Ristorante Da Paolino. The couple hosted a wedding reception for 250 guests on a hillside above the Grand Hotel Quisisana.

Assefa, 38, wore a J. Mendel gown and custom-designed Christian Louboutin shoes.


The couple met and began their relationship in Los Angeles, where Puck established his restaurant Spago 25 years ago and where Assefa was studying. They have two sons, Oliver, 2, and Alexander, 7 months.
