Is Derek Jeter Engaged?

Rumors are swirling that Major League Baseball's most eligible bachelor may no longer be on the market. That's right, there are unconfirmed reports that Derek Jeter popped the question to his girlfriend, Minka Kelly.

According to the New York Post, the couple is engaged and has even set a wedding date of November 5 at the same location as Kevin Jonas' recent wedding, Oheka Castle in Huntington, Long Island.

What is more impressive is how the New York Post attempted to confirm this information. A Post reporter posed as a bride-to-be so that she could request that same weekend for her fake wedding. When the sales manager opened the calendar, the reporter saw Jeter's name in big bold letters for the entire weekend. Naturally, the sales manager denied that the name really meant the Derek Jeter.

Jeter has been dating the 29-year old former Friday Night Lights' star for well over a year and it would be the first marriage for both.
